Questions
A local home cook in your community who has been background-checked by a third party, Checkr, and who has a valid food safety certification.
Yes, and this is the part we're strictest about. Every cook clears a background check before they can accept a single booking, and every cook holds a current food safety certification.
No one gets an exception, and no one cooks for a family before both are done.
Your cook does the shopping on the way to you. You're billed what the ingredients actually cost — we add no markup on food.

That's everything: the cook's time, the grocery run, and the ingredients. There's no membership fee on top.
You keep the same day each week, and it costs about 10% less than booking one week at a time. You still choose a fresh menu every week — the plan is the standing slot, not a fixed set of meals.
Skip a week, change the menu, or stop altogether whenever you like. There's no minimum number of weeks and no cancellation fee. If you'd rather just try one week first, you can.

Tell us and we'll move it. Life with kids doesn't hold still, and a service that punishes you for that isn't much of a service.
Tell us and we'll change it. You pick every dish, so you're never handed a menu someone else decided on — and if a dish doesn't land, it just doesn't come back next week.
